Six simple tips
Wash your vase with soap and water before filling it with cool, fresh water. Clean water is the #1 thing for vase life.
Cut about an inch off each stem at a 45° angle before arranging — and re-trim every few days for fresh uptake.
Remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline so the water stays clean and bacteria-free.
Display your bouquet out of direct sun and away from heat vents and ripening fruit, which shortens vase life.
Change the water every two days (and re-trim stems). Fresh water dramatically extends how long blooms last.
Pluck spent blooms as they fade so the rest of the bouquet keeps looking its best, longer.
